Permaculture believes in a reciprocal and mutually beneficial relationship with the land and natural systems, that offer back as much as the human takes. It is a tool for empowerment, offering people and communities a vocabulary and strategy for returning to the once commonly known ways of living and thriving. Permaculture serves as a bridge for bringing people back to the land and back to their human nature, as extensions of and a part of nature, beings on the interconnected web of life.
